Don’t know alot about NW since I haven’t been there. What are the best/favorite programs? Are they okay about students apply undeclared or dual majors? They have sent alot of mail lately and free application. Not sure, do they market alot?

Strengths

Specialized Schools (Communications, Education, Engineering, Journalism, Music)
Social Sciences (Anthropology, Economics, Psychology, Sociology)
Easy to Pursue Double and/or Interdisciplinary Majors
Strong Theater Program
Kellogg Business Certificate for Undergrads, plus HPME, MMSS
…and much more

I applied undeclared and was admitted. I would personally check out the individual schools within Northwestern on the website (http://www.northwestern.edu). The university has six undergraduate schools (including the specialized ones I mentioned above.)

Thanks. I wondered about undeclared, I see that some schools, like Princeton, seem to be better about it (ie. they say high percentage changes majors), while some schools want you to be rather specific about your intended major. Love math, thought about engineering (did summer program), but still love histories (will have taken probably all AP histories), plus international studies/relations.
