does the message show immediately for admitted students or do you need to open the letter?
i got waitlist but had no waitlist form
i had to click to view my decision then the letter popped up, it had confetti and everything so i knew right away

Do we know how many typically are waitlisted? They said they take 0-100 off waitlist in a typical year. I saw 55 taken off waitlist in 2023-2024

Is Northwestern’s waitlist selective? Their CDS only says 55 people got off the waitlist, but not the amount of people who got waitlisted.
Just curious whether Northwestern’s waitlist is like CMU’s (16k waitlisted) or MIT (<1k waitlisted).

Notes: Forgot to do 2nd optional supplemental and only realized a day after submission that you could do two. Really regret this as it could’ve pushed me to an admit. Regardless, I own up to my mistake. I deserve this and it was a learning opportunity lol.
Freshman 84.6% (middle school in my country + no feedback + explained in addl info)

Main EC was a cryptocurrency mining rig building business with $300k profit
Some other ECs included working at a crypto fintech company as a security advisor, IoT-based vibration analysis device, leading community service trips, leader of a club, etc.
