Rejected from MIT Computer Science
My son got accepted into Northwestern and Waitlisted into Binghamton, both on the same day. Make it makes sense
Child was rejected. Applied to the School of Education and Social Policy. Legacy x 2. Knew it was a long shot.
Best of luck to those who got in. I loved it there back in the day (although I think it is way more intense than it was in the 90s)
DD was straight up rejected at Carnegie Mellon (they waitlist 50%). Accepted at Georgia Tech (albeit after being deferred). Unfortunately only waitlisted at Northwestern.
Same, except rejected from GT. For CMU, I did summer courses at CMU + got a good LoR from one of my profs there
Anyone heard from Northwestern ISP yet?
Just got an email for invitation to visit ISP House during Wildcat Day?
I received that too. Didnât hear anything from the time I applied so was wondering if they got my application, and now I know that they did.
Any waitlist movement? Heard some students got off the waitlist, but theyâre unconfirmed.
Any idea if IL is usually last to hear back? got deferred then waitlisted and not rlly tryna wait much longer
Update: GOT OFF THE WAITLIST DONâT LOSE HOPE
congratulations! Did you get a call from AO before taking off WL or an email update?
Call first then email after

My son was also offered a spot from the NU waitlist on Friday, May 2nd. We got a call from the AO and live in the Northeast.
can I know what is your sonâs major?
