this might be dumb, but do all schools in northwestern offer the same financial aid packages? im planning on applying to sesp or medill, but since theyre such small schools, would they have a less financial aid package than that of weinberg?

The individual colleges do NOT award FA for undergrad. That comes from the Univ. For grad school, aid can come from the dept.

It’s the same fin aid package. Unlike, say, the colleges of Cornell, which are very independent, the schools of Northwestern don’t have separate fin aid packages.

NU give need based financial aid. Unless the needs would be different among schools (sometimes fees and tuition may be different depending on major), the aid should be similar. I don’t think their NPC ask for your intended major/school anyway.

Tuition and fees are the same.
