Northwestern vs Caltech

I have narrowed down the schools that I want to attend to these two, and I know that the two are extremely different but I am attracted to the two for different reasons. As of now I am leaning towards Northwestern and I love the school, but it is hard for me to simply pass up on Caltech. I am mostly concerned about research opportunities, strength in science education (and grade deflation/inflation), student body at Northwestern compared to that of Caltech, and any other things that you can comment on comparing the two.

All advice is appreciated in advance!

One factor is your future prospects.
-Caltech–> Silicone Valley/West coast business/Intensive research grad-school

-Northwestern–> Midwestern prestige/PreMed/Midwestern business (chicago finance hub)

Northwestern is by far more well-rounded in student body and research-wise. Caltech is deff more science intensive.

Doesn’t Caltech have less than 1000 undergrads? That would be depressing.
