Northwestern vs. Michigan Ann-Arbor

I am a male from new york with a 3.8 gpa and a 1410 SAT score (740v, 670m). I am applying EDII to Tufts, and I have several other schools that I am applying to, if I don’t get into Tufts. Northwestern was/is one of them, however the application is honestly the most annoying things i’ve ever had the displeasure of doing, and I don’t even know if it’s worth finishing. My question is: For someone interested in studying international relations and/or journalism/communications (I know there are better schools for these programs, and I’ve applied to a lot of them) do you think i should apply to Northwestern (I think that if i get rejected from Tufts, that I won’t get into NW…) apply to Michigan Ann-Arbor, or neither of them. I have eight other schools besides Tufts and NW/UMich including: George Washington, Brandeis and Wesleyan.

Thank you

Don’t bother applying to Northwestern if the app is giving you fits. You’ll likely be accepted by GW and Brandeis. GW has a political communication major you might like.
