Northwestern vs Vanderbilt Education Program

Interested in both schools, intended majors are neuroscience & education/child studies. Both are amazing. Wondering how their education/children programs differ though? (At Vanderbilt not sure if I would do education or child development/studies though in Peabody. At Northwestern it would be their Learning Sciences concentration in SESP).

Also potentially premed, so if someone could speak to their differences in that.

I understand their cultures are quite different (I think VU is more work hard/play hard, more rich whites, more politically moderate) but if someone can elaborate that’d be great.

Thanks.
