Any advice on a Norwegian Cruise in late July 2020? We want to see the fjords, of course, but I don’t know much about Norway. What cities should we try to hit? What cruise lines to look at (I know it will be expensive anyway, but we don’t want anything too crazy)…
LOL - You mean cruises near Norway. Many people may think you mean NCL (Norwegian Cruise LInes).
How old are the folks traveling with you? Look at Viking Cruises for trips. You should find something that appeals to the parents. But I have heard that the Viking Cruises really are well suited to older folks, and folks who like to hear the history and info about the ports. If you are looking for mega ship entertainment, this won’t work.

I think “older” can be misleading. It doesnt necessarily mean old old. More that there can be fewer little kids or teens. Maybe the better word is “mature,” which reflects intetests, as well. Friends describe Viking as more sophisticated.
Stay away from the largest ships. Takes too long to get off and on. We paid for a balcony, worth it. And center ship, not as far to the action. Noises carrying to our room was no issue. But you look at the package offerings, see what appeals.
My friend did q 21+ day land trip to Norway. Saw plenty of fjords, villages, loved it. Pricey.
I also like the Vacations to Go website, for pricing.
