<p>I won’t be 18 the entire first year of college. I was wondering if this would be a serious issue? Would the college take ownership over me the first year? Am I even allowed to stay in the dorms? Thank you :)</p>
<p>Check with admissions at each school you’re interested in. Occasionally it might be an issue, but for most schools, it shouldn’t be a problem.</p>
<p>I don’t know of any college where that would be an issue. I was not 18 when I went years ago, nor were my Ds recently.</p>
