<p>I doubt its mostly rejections in the end. It’s just coincidence if UCI are true to their word and say “everything is random, rejection and acceptances” I refuse to believe it

<p>At my school the case of lower stats getting accepted towards the end is holding true. Most of the people that I know who are waiting have mediocre/average stats.</p>
<p>sigh I’d be laughed at by most of my friends if I dont get in UCI since I got in UCSD <.<.</p>
<p>i don’t think it is by gpa or stats… i do think it’s somewhat random because i know ppl that have gotten in with mediocre stats maybe 3.5ish gpa and ppl still waiting with good stats and about 3.9ish gpa’s</p>
<p>Twin Bro also still waiting on Irvine. I really hate the way UCI does rolling admissions. Other uc’s like SD and LA are much better. All accepts/rejects come out in one day. BAM! Just like that. Saves the hassle.</p>
<p>BTW, Im not entirely sure that UCI sends out letters by GPA, I got in Feb for Bio; my stats arent bad, but not stellar or anything…</p>
<p>Man. This wait is killing me. It will freaking suck if you waited until 31 March and they tell you that you are rejected. My heart will break into a gazillion pieces.</p>

<p>Well fellow CCers, I’ve decided to move on to another thread. I haven’t lost faith, I haven’t given up; I just have a hunch that I will not be admitted to UCI. And when I have a hunch, I have a hunch! </p>
<p>I can look back knowing that I gave it my all but being an Anteater was just not meant to be. Yes, I’m sad but I will make the best of my college life somewhere other than in Irvine!</p>
<p>Before I move on to another forum, I wanted you all to know: you have all been wonderful company. I’ve come across some of your usernames in other forums so I hope to hear from you again… :)</p>
<p>I do have one last question: does anyone know if rejections arrive via snail mail? If so, I’ll take a break from all this typing and clicking and I’ll go hound the mailman…</p>

<p>I have a strong feeling I’m gonna get rejected by sb since my major is highly selective(accounting and probability stats) and they have over 60000 applicants this year!!! More than LA and Berkley</p>
<p>I think I have started to not worry about rejection anymore because I have accepted if I get rejected from Davis, SB, and Irvine next week, I’ll be happy with UCR. Although I would still really prefer going to UCI for the next four years haha, I think it makes the wait a lot more bearable :]</p>
