Not another chance thread...?

Unfortunately... any help is appreciated :)

ACT: 32, retaking again in fall,
SAT: taking in fall
GPA: 3.775 weighted
Rank: 68/507
EC's: relatively good; one sport (varsity) done all four years; multitude of clubs; sunday school; 300+ hours of volunteering for NHS/local hospital
Rigor of schedule/AP's: very rigorous; will have taken approximately 11 tests by graduation, all for credit at UChicago hopefully (6 so far, all 4s/5s)
Recs/essays: set
Other: please see here: (<a href="http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-michigan-ann-arbor/976630-i-used-think-i-lock-umich.html%5B/url%5D">http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-michigan-ann-arbor/976630-i-used-think-i-lock-umich.html</a>)</p>

So... how does it look? I'm out of state but how well could financial aid cover me? I'd really like to go here, it's a definite option besides UMich, Columbia and Northwestern

Your ACT is within Chicago's mid 50% range, so it's fine. But if you're an unhooked applicant you may want to get it closer to a 34. Your rank and gpa are also a bit low, but this can be offset by writing strong/creative essays. Lastly, you say you are in a multitude of clubs. Remember colleges like quality of EC's over quantity, so try to get some leadership in some of those clubs to bolster the EC portion of your app. Overall I'd say you have a decent chance of getting in. If your essays are solid you'll be just fine. Good Luck! :)
