Not applying to FA increases chances?

Hello,

As an international student, I have a question. If I don’t apply for FA, will my chances increase for a public or private college?

Thanks,

Bump bump :)

Schools that say they are need blind, it will not make a difference. At schools, where they either dont say or say they are need-sensitive, it could make a big difference. Schools such as Wesleyan and Grinnell are having a big debate about this issue.
Thank you for your answer!
What about schools likes the Universities of California, Michigan or Texas?
I don’t have US citizen ship and I never lived in the US.

All those schools want and need full payers. So yes def increase changes whether out of state or out of country with no Aid.

Ok perfect, thanks!

In order to get your student visa, you will need to show that you can pay for your education. Look for the Cost of Attendance (COA) for international students at each website. You will need to have at least that much every year or you will not get a visa even if the college has accepted you.

Yes I know, that’s fine for me.
