Not Contacted For Interview

Hi all, I applied rd and have not yet been contacted for an interview, what should I do?

btw, I live in socal

The adcom I spoke with said that not being contact for an interview by Feb 15 was a “polite rejection.” Better luck next time ;)

Your full of it raven001. Another poster asked the same question sempitern555. The truth of the matter is that they try to do as many interviews as humanly possible. Btw- it’s a plus if you can have the interview, but it won’t hurt you in the adcom decisions if you don’t have it.

You may just be in a region where there are not many alums. Also it is possible someone was assigned to you and just slacking off and not contacting you. I did not have an alumni interview, although I did have on campus, and I was deferred EA while 2 other people at my school who had alumni interviews were rejected EA. There probably are a number of Alums in Socal but there are also a lot of applicants the Alum to applicant ratio may be hard to handle.

laurenemma I live in Austin, TX also. what school do you go to? I’m in westlake high school.

I was contacted for an interview a few days ago. I have my interview in a few hours.

Raven you’ve gotta be kidding me. I e-mailed someone from the university, and she told me they don’t give everyone an interview and that it was not detrimental if you didn’t have one.

I thought my sarcasm was evident.

This question has been asked ad nauseum, and I have no sympathy for the OP who couldn’t take 15 seconds to do a search.

haha…raven…there is no sarcasm on this site…even if you put the winking face…everybody’s nerves are wound so tightly from the whole process. lol.

Haha true…

I’d be more empathetic, though, if this quesiton hadn’t been asked umpteen million times already :)

lol, yes, I’ll still try and get an interview by calling the admin office

HAH…I tried that…ended my love for Yale…

Geaz that is a good joke you guys cracked! By the way, are any of you Bonesman?

you arent a bonesman admit it. jeez up until a few weeks ago you were talking about trying to go see the tomb during the summer and doing a research project about it. You also show that you arent in college by a lot of your posts. And to top it all off you would need to be a Yale Junior to get tapped. And if you were tapped you would not mention it to anybody. Honestly fess up before I crack you a new hole for making b.s. up.

You aren’t going to “crack” me a new anything moron, ever heard of a joke??? Seriously, get a life, maybe a sense of humour too… Is everyone at Yale like the BigNfag over here??? Geaz… Maybe I should just go to Harvard.

bonesman get a life

lets play nice here, there’s enough Yale to go around

also bonesman get some manners come to yale badmouthing people, and you will never leave alive. obviously you either think a) your higher up then everybody or b) you obviously have much more class and maturity then anybody else here. dont bother coming here, go to your nearest tech school you should fit in using your first grade disses.

Yeah I think I’ll be fine, pretty clever how you used my “tech school” diss from a prior forum to insult me in this one, thinking no one would notice… nice there big guy…
