"not enough information" as a choice

On a general note, when you get to a math problem that has “not enough information” as a choice, is that usually not the answer, or is it?

usually not

9 times out of 10 it’s never right. Except it was right on the April exam.

yeah, it’s unlikely. but you never know.

My math teacher said ti choose it if you reach a dead end in a problem. The problem with that is that I reach dead ends all the time becasue of miscalculations…in the end I just guess and never choose the “not enough info” choice.
