not good not good :(

I applied EA to Gtown College, and with only 16 days remaining, I am thinking about it a lot.

The problem is, last year, I got in a car accident which influenced my school work, resulting in a D in AP Calculus. I have been retaking the class online, but it is now apparent that the grade change will not get to Gtown in time.

I am wondering, would Gtown automatically defer on the basis of having this one really bad grade, knowing that I am retaking it (my counselor talked about it in her rec)? Even with that, I still have above a 4.0, but do you know of anyone who got into a school EA and had a poor grade like this?

If it’s explained that you’re retaking it, I don’t think that it will be a problem. However, they might defer you just so that they can see the grade in the class.

That’s what I am afraid of. I don’t want to have to wait til March/April to get in. Oh well, thanks!

Anytime! Sorry about that, though. Good luck! :)
