Not Liking My SAT Score

So I took the November 2nd test and felt pretty good about it, albeit a little bit worried since I hadn’t put much time into preparing since August. I had gotten over 2000 several times on practices, and was hoping for a similar result for my first try. Needless to say, the results were not what I would have liked. I scored a 1940 (600CR, 700M, 640W with a 9 Essay). I know for sure I need to put more time into prepping for the January exam, but I would really like to see my CR and W scores go up, and I’m targeting near 2200-2300. Anyone think this is possible if I put in a few more hours a week? Also, anybody have any good and stress free ways to help with vocab? I don’t find flash cards really helpful.

For vocab, try to create what they call visual associations. That is, create images in your mind when you are learning a word. If u have android, download some apps which do this. I found them helpful…
