Not political, I promise! Are the impeachment hearings on your local TV?

Are your local television stations carrying the impeachment hearings? Just curious if you are at home and have your tv on.

Two stations are not carrying them at all (local ABC and Fox), one carried them until noon (NBC but they have all 4 hours of the today show). One is still showing them CBS but carried local programming for yesterday’s afternoon session.

Don’t make this political, please

I put my question in the header so people don’t have to guess at the topic.

Chicago area. Local ABC, NBC and CBS are showing live.

At least one of my local TV stations and both NPR affiliates carried the full thing yesterday. Not sure about today.

Streaming it here. No idea on local channels because I don’t do cable any longer.

Mr. is watching on his phone using Sling (CNN). No idea about local channels. The local paper has breaking news updates on the front page.

Central Texas. Today, local Fox and PBS are not. CBS, NBC and ABC are. Yesterday, I noticed that CBS didn’t air the afternoon portion but did the morning portion. ABC and NBC did both portions.

I’m in Florida. Local NBC, ABC and CBS affiliates are showing it. Not Fox. I’m watching it on cable news.

Wash DC market - ABC had it on all day yesterday except at noon when the local news is broadcast. ABC is the local channel I typically watch so I’m not sure what other channels were doing. However today, I had ABC on all morning, then after the noon local news broadcast, the hearings came on for about 10 minutes then suddenly changed to a talk show. Weird. CBS and NBC are showing the hearings now but FOX is not.

I also get the Baltimore stations. I just checked and all of the networks currently have the hearings on.

I’m surprised that the FOX and ABC stations in DC are not airing them. I wonder if there is a mistake with ABC since yesterday they aired the hearings all day, and continued to air today, then suddenly 10 minutes into the 1:00 hour w/o warning switched to regular programming.

San Francisco area - ABC, CBS, and NBC locals all have them today. Not sure about the other days - I’ve been watching on MSNBC.

Thanks. Amending to say that they are on PBS, I hadn’t thought about that. Still on CBS.

Interesting to hear where you are watching. I keep channel surfing so not loyal to any station

NBC is showing them here. I only know because I tried watching the news yesterday at 4/5 and it was preempted. Today it’s on too. I have no idea about the other channels. In general I’m at work when they’ve been on and I’m not a big TV watcher so any station covering it (or not) really isn’t making a difference in my life. I’m ok with the Cliff Note summary afterward. BBC does a good job summarizing (my preference for World News as they actually acknowledge there’s a big planet with many countries out there). The NBC station is my preference for local news/weather.

You can also listen to NPR too. Pretty sure they have it. I don’t follow, but my DH is a news junkie. He listens to NPR or CNN because he isn’t allowed to watch news TV when I am in the same room.

In Denver the ABC, NBC, and CBS stations are. Several of those stations have joint newsrooms with other stations, but those are not showing the hearings. Of course it is also on all the cable news stations.

I remember during the watergate hearings the stations alternated which days it would carry the hearings. All My Children was cancelled every third day, which was all that really mattered to me.

I haven’t been home so don’t know what the TV stations are doing. I have been listening when I’m in the car on the local NPR station.

Wouldn’t one of the C-SPAN channels have it?

I’m in Indianapolis today, glued to the television. Not looking at local channels, but switching between Fox and CNN to get different points of view.

I’ve been listening on our local NPR station. Had a class this morning, but listened on my commute. Had a meeting this afternoon, now I’m doing office clean-up (with obvious break here!) and listening works better than watching.

I’ve been watching but like @mathmom listening is better than watching. So I’ve been cleaning and watching. My house is very clean and I’ve organized a bunch of my cupboards

I’m recovering from a cortisone shot in my shoulder (I had no idea the shot would make my shoulder much worse, oops) and watching MSNBC. Last week we had a scheduled power outage, and for my listening pleasure I had to turn on a portable radio for the end of one of the hearings; no idea what station it was, I just twirled the dial until I heard the hearings.

MODERATOR’S NOTE:
The question posed is straightforward:

So no recaps. No opinions of the witness(es). No opinions of the questioners/questions.
