Hey guys, i just took the Jan 24 SAT (my first time, im a junior) but I didn’t choose any schools to send it to. I was thinking of waiting until I got my scores back then maybe sending the scores (with a late fee) depending on what the scores were. However, I was wondering if this might have a negative impact on me? If (Harvard, for instance) got the scores late, would they think that I was unsure/uncertain of my own abilities and hold that against me? Or are there really no negative impacts of paying the late fee and sending the scores later?

Yes, if you didn’t send it immediately because you weren’t confident that you got a 2400, they would automatically reject you.

Any legit responses? ;)

If you’re a junior why bother worrying? Just wait and send when you get the scores. There’s nothing you can do to change it anyways.

you dont have to send them until youre applying
of course it doesnt matter when you send them.
in fact its better to wait when you have all your scores and subjects on your report!
why would you send them now with the risk of them getting mixed up with all of our (senior’s) scores?
