Not showing interest in your culture...

<p>Hi,</p>

<p>I’m Hispanic (Mexican) and since I’ve always identified myself as so, I’ll obviously be a URM! However, other than speaking Spanish, I haven’t really shown interest in my culture; quite the opposite actually, since I’m an Irish step dancer.</p>

<p>Do you think this will hurt me in the long run?</p>

<p>I really don’t see how this can affect you in any way possible, there’s nothing wrong with appreciating other cultures, actually it can benefit you by showing how you have tolerance and interests in different cultures.</p>
