Okay freshmen year my grades were okay but as the year went on they got lower and lower.

then for sophomore year they were all just low in general. then some of my grades went up some, but still not impressive in the least bit.

If I do well my junior year will I still have a chance of getting accepted?

(I’m a sophomore now)

Between freshmen and sophomore year the extracurricular activities I have are

Key Club
Drama Club
Paws Club
GSA
Muslim Club
Basketball
Lacrosse

Generally, colleges like to see a upward swing in grades. Keep working towards improving them and you might have a better shot.

okay thats great! one more question I hear you need 3 years of foregin lanugage, I only have two years of Latin. Will colleges reject me because of this?

I don’t believe I’ve heard of anybody being rejected for that reason. Generally, I’ve found those “requirements” to be suggestions unless explicitly stated on the site. (e.g. Carnegie Mellon’s SAT2 reqs.)

Just pull your grades up, have an awesome application, and hope for the best! :-)
