<p>I’m currently a student in Barrett Honors College at Arizona State University and I’m not really sure if choosing this school was the best fit for me. I really tried to like it, I really did, but after homophobic incident after homophobic incident, I’m just really upset with the school in general. Don’t get me wrong, I know there are a lot of people here who don’t have a problem with me being gay, but I just had negative incident after negative incident that I’ve completely given up on trying to make friends. I have made 0 friends since school started. I joined clubs and everything, but I haven’t hit it off with anyone. Thank goodness I live 30 minutes away from campus so I go home every weekend.
So, I’m kind of thinking of transferring to UofA for the spring semester (In fact, I’ve already submitted my application).
But after much deliberation, I’m not completely sure.
The reason is that I’m not sure on what I want to do with my life. At asu I’m currently pre-med and I’m excelling in a lot of my science classes. In fact, I think I might end up with a 3.8 or above for this semester. However, I’m only pre-med because being a doctor is the only thing I can imagine doing with my life…However, I don’t get excited when I think about being a doctor. Point blank, I’m unsure about transferring to UofA since I don’t have any idea on what I want to major in… I’m leaning towards a BS in Economics through the business school since I did really well and liked Macroeconomics during high school. However, UofA doesn’t offer a BS in Economics and ASU has a really good business school.
I’m kind of torn. At this point, I hate ASU and haven’t enjoyed myself in the slightest. But I’m unsure about transferring because I’m not sure on what I want to major in or what I want to do with my life. If I stay at ASU, I know that I’m going to end up commuting from home sophomore, junior, and senior year. If I go to UofA I’m getting an apartment with friends since all my friends from high school went to UofA and I was the only one who went to ASU.
Next semester at asu I signed up for Gen. Bio II, Gen. Chm II, Calc II, and Microeconomics just in case I decide to stay. Should I finish up the year and see if I like Econ or want to continue on the pre med track? Or just get the heck out and go to UofA?</p>

<p>Don’t stress out too much over BS vs BA vs BSBA. It’s really not a big deal.</p>

UA offers a B.A. in Economics and a B.S. in Business Economics
I would prefer a B.S. in Economics though, not that there’s much of a difference, but I’d rather have Economics on my diploma than Business Economics. I know its literally the dumbest thing ever, but yeah…</p>
