At the beginning of the semester, I opted to take 5 AP Exams (AP Gov and Politics, AP Spanish, AP Lit, AP Psychology, and AP Macroeconomics). I’ve taken 4 of them so far, and I plan on taking the last one, but I would like to omit my AP Psychology test. Would this be frowned upon at the Wesleyan admission office? Like… Would I be questioned as to why I decided to not take 1 test out of 5?

I am already an applied, admitted, and enrolled student for class of 2011.

I wouldnt worry about it at all. Frankly, with Wesleyan’s stingy AP credit policy, it seems they don’t even like the tests. The exams are just there so you can graduate with 2 more credits… not submitting a score is no big deal.

I didn’t take the APs tests for either AP classes I took senior year, since I didn’t feel like studying for them and I already had more credits than Wes would take. Wes really couldn’t care less (and as smartalic said, since you can only get two AP credits towords graduation anyway, there’s zero reason to take a test you don’t want to take).
