how detrimental is it to not take the ap test for a senior? like if there is a chance of not passing, is it better to not take it. if you fail a test, whats the worst that can happen?

Since your a senior, nothing bad can happen if you fail a test since the admissions process is already done with. Although, I would hate failing simply because of the blow it would be to my own self dignity. So I would just study and do well.

The only reason to take it as a senior would be if you wanted college credit. If the school you’re going to offers credit, then you should definitely study and take it.

Even if the school you’re planning on attending doesn’t accept the credit, there are a noteworthy percentage of students who transfer from one college to another. The school you transfer to might accept that credit, even if your original school didn’t, so I would suggest that you go for the credit anyway, if your chances of passing the exam are non-zero.

To Latency: actually, admissions can still withdraw you if your grades slip too much. If you glance around the forum, there are several threads about this.

Thanks for the responses.
