who are some of the accomplished/prominent names in the SEAS department?

i know i’m probably gonna get “flamed” for not researching Penn enough before applying, but it’s really hard to find anything worthwhile on their website.

I did someone from the Bioengineering department, since that’s what I want to major in.

You should research your stuff though
Just sayin’.

Narrow it down to a department within SEAS - that’s the least of the research you need to do. What kind of engineering do you want to study?

Also, don’t worry about finding an accomplished professor. As long as it’s not an adjunct/part-time lecturer, you’re fine. The Engineering website homepages and the Daily Pennsylvanian are good places to look for news references of professors.

If you’re doing the professor essay, you don’t need a notable person. Just get someone whose research intrigues you.
