Music Majors:
I am going through my notes from my first year music theory classes, and trying to organize them so I can refer to them this year. I always take notes in theory on staff paper, so when I need to write out music, I don’t have to transfer between 2 different pages, but I find that written notes often look too messy. Has anyone come up with any reasonable methods for taking notes on staff paper?? I’ve thought about printing out a half a page of staff paper and using the bottom for notes…any ideas?

Sounds like a great idea to me if you can read your own handwriting and keep track of all those individual sheets of paper. I’d print out several and make a little notebook out of them before classes start.

I agree with 27dreams. That sounds like a good plan!

You might be able to find a notebook that’s partially staff paper.
