if some of you spent half the time you spent here doing something not quite as inane, the world would be a better place and maybe some of those poor AFrican kids wouldn’t be starving.
<p>If you spent half the time you spend being condescending, officious, and arrogant doing some not quite as obnoxious you’d probably have more friends.</p>
<p>I actually think you bring up quite a good point – however, some of us intend to use our education to make the world a better place. And it does matter where we go to school; not all of us are brilliant. </p>
<p>I’m planning on studying IR and dream of some day working at the UN – if that isn’t an important contribution to humanity, I don’t know what is.</p>
<p>Of course I could end up stamping passports at the canadian border. Or something.</p>
