Notes on Application in Admissions Portal?

I’m kind of new so if I don’t have the proper formatting in this discussion I apologize.

A college I applied for gave me access to a portal to keep track of my application. I applied through the Common App and also a separate Honors Program application. Next to three things, “Application for Admission”, “Reference Letter”
and “School Report Form” is the notation “EC” in the comment box. At first, I thought maybe that notes how they were sent but I am assuming that the “BDM” acronym (which I found out to mean Banner Document System) accounts for that.

My portal also says:
Admissions Application Status: Complete ready for review - 02-NOV-2016
Acceptance Decision Status: Pending Decision (AP) - 02-NOV-2016
No Documents Needed at this time

I’m assuming AP means Administrative Processing but I do not know. The admissions counselor assigned to me is named Doug, so I do not think “EC” would correspond for initials.

If anyone has any insight that’d be great, thanks!

Don’t twist yourself trying to decode their in-house coding systems. really. All you need is their final answer. This is like watching paint dry. If anything is amiss (remember, they’ve been doing this for decades and you’re one of hundreds of thousands of successfully evaluated applicants), they’ll contact you. Logical, no?

I guarantee that you’ve got better and more fulfilling things to do. This is so minor as to not waste another keystroke. Go play and have fun.
