<p>Please, the waiting is killing me. I heard that if you didnt hear before April 15th, it was pretty much a no. My application was finally finished mid-march so maybe they came across my application last. Any words to encourage, confirm, or deride?</p>
<p>Never lose hope until you have a letter in hand starting with “We regret that…”, and then, simply see that as your ticket to apply next year.</p>
<p>Until then, keep waiting. I don’t know what the due dates are, but if one passes, pick up the phone and bug the heck out of them.</p>

<p>Always have a plan B Potential Plebe. You mentioned your application was completed in mid-March. So you have a nom, LOA, medical clearance? </p>
<p>As for the waiting, yes it can be unbearable. If you know your Regional Director, give them a call.</p>

<p>This is my second application cycle for USNA, and I still haven’t heard yet either. My BGO says he hasn’t heard anything new either (I keep telling myself that he knows I got in, but he’s just waiting for me to get the letter!). Hang in there. If you think the waiting is tough…try doing it twice.</p>
<p>I too am currently living on the opposite side of the US. For some reason the Academy has been sending letters to my home in Texas, followed shortly by a duplicate to my dorm here in Seattle. Strange, but it’s kept my parents in the know as well.</p>
