So, no letter yet, should i assume the worst?

I live pretty much on the opposite side of the US, so could it be in transit, either as a rejection or appointment?

Please, the waiting is killing me. I heard that if you didnt hear before April 15th, it was pretty much a no. My application was finally finished mid-march so maybe they came across my application last. Any words to encourage, confirm, or deride?

“My application was finally finished mid-march so maybe they came across my application last”

here’s a quote from the usna website: Except in very unusual circumstances, candidate files not completed by March 1 will not receive further consideration.

I hope you were a case of very unusual circumstances. Best of luck

This is my second application cycle for USNA, and I still haven’t heard yet either. My BGO says he hasn’t heard anything new either (I keep telling myself that he knows I got in, but he’s just waiting for me to get the letter!). Hang in there. If you think the waiting is tough…try doing it twice.

I too am currently living on the opposite side of the US. For some reason the Academy has been sending letters to my home in Texas, followed shortly by a duplicate to my dorm here in Seattle. Strange, but it’s kept my parents in the know as well.
