Okay so I don’t know how the university would look at this or if it matters… but I recently got promoted to the Board of a company that I’ve been working with for a little over two years (this now means that I have a LOT of power in the company… and as a high school senior, that’s not too common). I was wondering whether or not I should inform my colleges of this promotion, but for MIT, I wasn’t sure if it would make a difference 'cause more than likely they’ve already made a decision for me.

Yes? No? Thanks in advance for any opinions!

What type of company exactly?

It’s an “educational” corporation (think Kaplan/PR). It’s not a HUGE HUGE HUGE company yet (my objective on the Board is actually to expand it). As of now, it only spans the state of CA. I don’t want to give too much information as it will give away my identity (my school is full of CC stalkers D: ).

Ya, it will help alot. If you plan to major in Education(thats if MIT offers that) then its going to help you even more.

They may have already made a decision but hey send it anyway, can’t hurt, they’ll just say, thanks for sending but…if they can’t use it.
