The “likely” emails went out about a week ago. There have been numerous posts on social media (Facebook and Reddit) about them. My take is that they most likely go to applicants who are academically exceptional who might get offers at other T20 schools to get a feel for their level of commitment to ND. This is most likely to help protect yield. I am not worried that my daughter didn’t get one because she has made it clear in her LOCI and through her college counselor that she is 100% committed to enrolling at ND if admitted. I also doubt these emails are going to any deferred applicants. My only concern is that this practice may lower the chances for deferred applicants because it seems they are trying to improve yield, meaning they might be more inclined to use the waitlist. We will know in less than a week!

Hmm that’s odd, when I click the link for “Notre Dame RD Class of 2030 Results Form” in the yellow post and then click the links to the google docs that opens they both show Clemson data. I did however find the ND data on a different thread so I did get what I needed, but this one in particular has a Clemson link for me.
