I read somewhere it was hopefully on the 18th. Taking her this weekend, from Texas, to tour the campus.
Any other REA deferred candidates here? For us, it feels like an eternity! Can’t wait to have our answer. DD has some other great options, including Georgetown, but ND is by far her first choice!!

Our DD is REA and got deferred last month.
My daughter was also deferred REA

Took the time to look at Instagram posts from the past several years and compiled the RD decision dates for each year. Seems they tend to be on either a Tuesday, Thursday or Friday, rarely on a Wednesday, and never on a Monday. If I had to guess, this year would be on St. Patrick’s Day, which is a Tuesday. But maybe we are due for a Wednesday release day, which would be the 18th!

St. Patrick’s Day would be pretty cool.

“Rumor” I just heard is that the RD release date will be announced tomorrow.

I think that not announcing on St Patrick’s Day is a missed opportunity, lol. They should do that every year!

We were actually told that it wasn’t a great idea. Some of the die hard Irish Catholics “may” associate it with a rejection letter in the future years if their kids get the bad news.

My child received an REA Deferral, so we are waiting very impatiently for the 18th.

Deferrals are rough. My daughter received two of them. It certainly complicates the decision-making process and makes me question the value of applying early.

So I see we have a decision release date- next Wed 3/18… good luck to all!
I have seen that ND started sending “likely” calls/emails so that is adding another layer of anxiety, having not gotten one.
