Notre Dame Early Action for Fall 2024 Admission

I’m wondering if my mind is playing tricks on me or if anyone else noticed this. When I applied in September, everyone I spoke to told me that ND is more like “test recommended” because they do lean heavily on the scores. I checked the Common Data Set and sure enough, the # of enrolled students who submitted SAT/ACT was very close to 100% for 2022-2023, similar to the previous year. I just checked the same document and now it’s closer to 70%, indicating they’re more open to test-optional applicants. Did anyone else notice that?
