What made me stand out: I think it has to be my extracurriculars and my essays were decent I think. Also, I had a personal website and a bunch of links in my application so the AOs could get visual evidence of my work and it builds up the ethos. My AP scores, class rank, and subject tests were at their level (maybe even a little lower), so my extracurriculars definitely carried me.

Good Luck to everyone with the rest of their decisions. I remember when I ED to Northwestern as a CS major I got straight out denied and I was so depressed for a week. Anytime someone mentioned Northwestern or anything Chicago I would feel this pain in my stomach (that feeling when you have a breakup. Ik it sounds dumb, but that’s how it felt). Don’t let one decision define who you are, but make sure to celebrate the ones that you get into! You deserve it. I wish everyone here the best of luck. You guys got this. Now on to the rest of the decisions.
