Deferred is OK, that’s what I expected for DS and he was outright rejected.
Deferred, 34 ACT, 3.96 UW GPA, team captain on state championship xc team
Denied. I didnt expect to get in anyway, but maybe I’ll end up there someday. Congrats to everyone who was accepted!
Guess who’s going to Saint Mary’s. Yep, denied from ND. Good luck to both those were deferred and congratulations to everyone that got in!
Congrats to everyone who got in, got denied from the school I’ve been supporting since I could literally speak.
Great news!!! I got deferred…Actually I don’t even wanna go there so the result is really mutual beneficial lol.
SAT 1520, weighted GPA 4.53, 8 AP all 5. Good luck to everyone! I need a drink now to celebrate since it’s finally over
Deferred with 1500 SAT, 3.95 UWGPA, 3 varsity sports and captain of all 3, lots of extracurriculars and leadership positions
It feels like a dream right now, guys scores and got aren’t everything!! ACCEPTED 32, 3.7
@Irishhopeful2022 same but its okay. Just not where we’re meant to go right now.
I got in but feel really bad about it since there are so many great people who have grown up with Notre Dame and got denied and I only decided to apply on Halloween…
To everyon who got deferred/rejected, you guys are such a smart and talented group and don’t let what one college says dictate how you feel about yourselves, good things will come to you all.
Deferred. 35 and 4.0 UW with loads of ECs. ND was and still is my dream school so this will be tough to get over, but congratulations to all who were accepted. ND is an amazing place and you should be very proud of yourselves.
Deferred with 1400 SAT, 4.0 weighted GPA, you can see the rest on my post. I’m below their average stats so I’m somewhat happy they decided to give me a chance after all.
@DaKine I was in your position many years ago. I went to SMC after getting rejected from ND, and it was one of the best decisions of my life. My daughter just graduated from SMC in 2017 and loved it. Give it a try, be a part of the SMC/ND community, and if you still want ND (I never looked back), you’ll have a good shot at a transfer. An added bonus is SMC gives a ton of merit aid. Best of luck to you.
