Notre Dame Restrictive Early Action 2022

Has anyone gotten information about the College of Science open ho

@golf111 Yeah, I did.

@golf111 - my nephew did

anyone hear about merit notification or know when we will hear?

Just so you know, my daughter was deferred last year and she got in. It happens!

@COSpgsparent what did she do to help her application? I was deferred and Notre Dame is one of my top choices.

anybody else get a glynn family honors program invite?

Yes, my D did @syd24ranger.

Does anybody already received their financial aid notification? It’s says that we will receiving it in late February. But I haven’t…

Nothing here either.

I was at the Mendoza Open House this past weekend, and they said they will be sent around March 5th.

I haven’t gotten mine either, and I was accepted REA.

Yes, @jsmith93 is correct. The financial aid director, Mary Nucciarone (sp?), did indeed say that she expected financial aid decisions to be released on or about March 5th. She also showed the updated cost of attendance for the 2018-19 academic year at $71,XXX, which reflects ND’s recently announced 3.7% tuition increase for next year. Yikes, that’s a lot of coin for full-freight families.

Does anyone know if financial aid decisions are released online, or are they delivered by mail only?

Has anyone been notified about their financial aid award yet? They’re supposed to be coming out today, but I haven’t heard anything.

@LifewithLia I haven’t heard anything yet. Where did you hear it was coming out today?

Just a heads up, most local Notre Dame Alumni Clubs offer scholarships that will not be in your initial financial aid award notification. Our son was prepared to go to a State school, until we were surprised by an increase to the financial aid award due to a scholarship from our local Notre Dame Alumni Club. This occurred about 2-3 weeks after the initial financial aid award.

@GraceDad do you know if it’s true that those ND club scholarships are only for students with demonstrated need?

@collegegirl6789 I was at the College of Arts & Letters Open House, and they changed the notification date from March 1st to March 5th! I’m just hoping they don’t change it again. I was reading a few other threads, and it looks like the stated notification date last year was March 1st as well, but a lot of REA kids didn’t hear until late March.

@GraceDad Thanks for letting us know! I fell in love with ND after visiting, but I’m planning on going to law school and I’ve been offered full-tuition from Fordham, so the financials are a huge deal. God-willing everything will work out, but I’ve been incessantly checking my email all day!
