Notre Dame Transfer Fall 2010

Okay, I went to Moorpark College in California.
I think the only reason she called me was to ask me if I was for certain taking that Stats class over the summer, because it would count as my second math requirement.
And yes, I suppose they accepted me without seeing my Spring Transcripts.

Phew! If anyone else hears, let us know! I have a feeling letters will be coming out next week. It might be the first round of letters. I’ve heard that that’s how they do it. They wait to see how many people accept, and then from that they send out another round of letters. Could be a college urban legend though, haha.

I had called my admissions counsler last week regarding spring semester grades and saying I am going on a service trip in June and wont have access to email or mail or anything so what was I supposed to do if I had not heard by then. I got the last of my spring grades yesterday and emailed them to ND and then I got a call about 4 hours later but I dont know if thats because I called them last week. Good luck everyone!

sounds like you both had special circumstances, but maybe that is me just rationalizing not getting a call! congratz again and hopefully i’ll get a package in the mail next week and not an envelope. luck for you guys the wait is over.

Yeah…as soon as anyone of you gets a letter in the mail, please post it, even if you’ve been rejected (I hope that’s not the case!). I want to know if Notre Dame is letting everyone know, or if it’s just a small group for some reason.

I’m waiting on a good friend of mine to find out if he’s been accepted, and it’d be nice to know if any of you get letters next week. I’ll post if I get a letter in the mail as well.

I got a call last week saying I was accepted as long as I take a calculus class this summer! Super excited!! I really hope financial aid works out because that is what it all depends on… Can’t afford much more than what I’m paying at Clemson (which is a public school and in-state tuition)… Should the packets be on the way if they’ve started calling people?

stats:

Transferring from Clemson University in SC
GPA: 3.90
Major: Psychology
HS: top 5% of class
Was waitlisted out of HS and not offered acceptance from the waitlist.

Congrats on your acceptance!! I am wondering whether you had submitted your 2nd semester grades before they made a decision?? Thanks!

Yes, I sent in my second semester grades on May 5th. So, ND had them for about a week and a half before calling me.

gratz mnb, but again looks like they are only calling in special cases…

im assuming official letters will all come out at around the same time (this week?)

I received my letter in the mail today. So, hopefully they’re on the way for everyone.

got my letter this morning,

and i got in, thanks all you guys who helped me out these past couple weeks

good luck to everyone else

yess  wait is over

congrats on being able to take advantage of those “slightly lesser academics”

Congrats, awesomeness – that’s great news!!!

i figured you would get bitter about that.

we can all admit notre dame is awesome lets just drop the whole “lesser academics” thing

and thanks myoneandonly

those of yall who got their letters, where are yall from? we’re living in new orleans and our mail after katrina has been shotty. does the letter come usps or fedex? thanks

usps i believe, and i am from new york. good luck to your friend

and you didnt get a call before hand, just a letter? or package?

I live in SC on the beach, and my letter just came in regular mail.

ok yall thanks, hopefully we’ll find out tomorrow then. congratulations to everyone

To those who have been accepted, had you all already submitted your 2nd term grades before hearing? Son submitting 2nd semester grades tomorrow so hoping it’s not too late - -seems quite a few are already starting to hear.

just a package (no call before hand because i don’t have to take any classes im guessing)

also i believe they have rolling admissions for transfers so you may not be notified till late in the summer  sorry if this is the case for any of you
