I am a sophomore with a gpa hovering around 3.6-3.7.
I take honors classes in History, English and Science. I also take Latin which is known notoriously at my school as one of the hardest courses.
I do cross country indoor track and outdoor track.
I also do math team, debate team, chess club and many other clubs in the community dealing with underage substance abuse, bullying etc. I also volunteer at my local library.
I will be an eagle scout by the time I am applying as well.
Do I have a legitimate shot at getting into Notre Dame?

Have you taken SATs yet? and do you plan on take APs?

Ill probably take AP’s in History English and science but i have not taken the sats yet

Notre Dame accepts people based on GPA (or class rank because of varying scales) ECs, Teacher evaluations, test scores, and your essays. Have good community service, leadership and maintain your good grades. Take the most rigorous curriculum offered by your school and you should be good. Start thinking about SAT/ACT preparation as well. Good luck to you
