<p>Can you recommend some interesting novels (that aren’t read in school Lit classes) that are good for improving vocabulary and have themes/examples that can be used on the SAT essay?</p>
<p>The Stand by Stephen King - amazing book and also has lots of vocab in it</p>
<p>probably wouldn’t be too good for an essay, it’s better to stick to the school -read books for the essay because they have lots of themes. My personal favorites are The Jungle by Upton Sinclair and Brave New World by Alduous Huxley</p>
