How many questions did everyone get wrong and what score did you get?
I made a lot of stupid mistakes (on easy problems) and got -8. My score came out to be a 660.

Nope, this was the US one. I forgot there were two curves; there were two different SAT administrations in November. I had the SAT with the negative campaigns passage.

The passage was about how politicians used negative campaigns as smear tactics. One of the vocabulary questions was about penguins; the answer choices being atavism, fanaticism, and pluralism.

I got 18/19 SC, I got the penguin question wrong :(

@sheep I meant 8 questions wrong, so it’s -10. Can’t update first post double sad face.

Wow… It sucks only because I thought this test was harder than last month’s. Too bad since I really only needed to improve my reading score, since my other scores were ok.

I was banking on a 750+

So what was the break down of question/difficulty?

I canceled my October score (about 7 wrong from what I saw on the discussion threads) so that I could get a higher score on this one. That was a stupid decision.

Breakdown:
SC: 1 Hard
Passage: 3 Medium 4 Hard

But for the passage ones, they weren’t really “hard”. I got the simple stuff like peregrination and humorous wrong. If I only followed my gut instinct, I would have done better. (not really since the curve was still horrible)

I assure you that -3 is a 740. I’m just as incredulous as you are. I missed three hard passage-based questions (I know exactly which three they are too…)

@SheepGetKilled You are confusing the two different tests (Which had two very different curves). For our test (Negative Campaign ads one) the curve seems to be:

I definitely had negative campaigns, and I got 6 wrong and got a 700. Therefore a -8 = 700. If you really want I can take a screen shot … you can also search my post history right after taking the test to see my comments about the negative campaigns.
