November SAT- VERSION ONE- BLockbuster moives

Girl’s birthday passage

-Anticipation
-Provided the setting
-Recalled a change in thought
-Should have been more aware of changes

Green chemistry
-Provide an outline
-Create something additional to conventional blah blah
-Demonstrate biological advantages

Omnivores
-Assimilation
-Illustrative example
-Social and cultural implications of biological phenomenon (not sure about this one…)

Phew, now I feel (sort of) better about the reading section as I got all of those (minus Assimilation, left that one black) that pocketsizedasian got on the above 3 sections, but I think I bombed the blockbuster one

What was the question with social and cultural implications of biological phenomenon?

The social and cultural impliacations of a bioligical phenomenon was in the omnivore section not green chemistry

@jp123456 do you remember what the question asked?

@RoseOak3918

I believe that question asked for the main idea or focus of the omnivore passage.

What was the question for “provided the setting”?

@gwang9787

I believe it asked how the “Today was her birthday” statement related to the first paragraph. Another answer choice was something like “it revealed her attitude towards…”

I think that had to do with what does the first paragraph do. Anyone know what the SC question was for “tenacious”? I don’t remember that one.

@gwang it asked what the function of the first paragraph was

The exact answer was “It clarified the description made in lines 2-7” i think

The CR was significantly harder than last month’s in my opinion. Wasn’t math the experimental in this version? I had two grid in sections for math

@Audrae The question with tenacious was Traditions are ____ because they are hard to ______

choices tenacious/erradicate
persistent/augment

I put tenacious/erradicate

@jp123456

Oh, was that an answer choice? I think I missed it… but I remember one with “setting” in it and chose that one. oops (?)

@Kpopzz

I think it varies for each person.

Omg I put 50mph for the 40 and 60 one. Ffs >_<

Some non-reading exp told me they had this section while others said they didnt?

@jp123456 Thanks! I feel better now cause that’s what I put too. i almost put persistent/augment but augment doesn’t fit too well.

Was the circle one c?

I put 50mph too dang…why is it 48?

Anyone remember any iffy writing MC questions?
I had one with “should have” but I can’t quite remember it… something about driving?

@Kpopzz

The question was 40 mph to Town A and 50 mph back home, I set distance = 10, but that number is arbitrary. Then I found total distance (20) and total time (5/12) by applying d=st commuting both ways. Average speed = total distance/total time = 20/(5/12) = 48
