November SAT- VERSION ONE- BLockbuster moives

Did anyone get the one with one square on top of the other at a 45 degree angle, both with side lengths of 1? You were supposed to find the area of the shaded region. Answers were like 1/2, 3/8, 2/5, root 2 - 1, etc.

What was the answer to the scientific experiment one? (Answers included serendipity anticipation outcome,etc.) also what was the purpose of the statement “it was my birthday” or something along the lines of that. Also was there a problem with the sentence that was like “it was reportedly at the zoo where she had seen the tiger” and the one about 4 space missions?

Also the question with the triangle made by 3 lines. You were given one angle of 45 and were asked what s plus t was. I got 225 but put 245 cus I didn’t want three D’s in a row…

ouch. you should never do that.

@yangsterz serendipity, clarify the setting, and yes there was.

For the one writing question with 2 “would have” in the sentence, was the first one wrong?

@Kentrian, it was 225 @just4notherguy i circled the first would have, because i thought it was just had

What were the errors for the tiger one and the space mission one? Also wasn’t the it was my birthday to being the reader back to the present?

@yangsterz i dont remmember wht the answers were ull have to give me choices, the bring the reader back to the present one was referring to when it talked about the boy setting up the chairs outside

what was the f(x)-1 question?

@drgoldwyn 4

what would Math: -5 Writing: -2/3 with 11/12 essay CR: -8 be

@jp, okay the bring back to the present was one of the correct answers?
For th first find the error question, the sentence was something like it was reportedly at the zoo that (name) had saw the tiger that inspired her to write the novel. And the second one was something along the lines of before becoming an astronomer, (name) took part in 4 different space missions, which she logged over 400 hours as a space engineer

i put had saw as wrong for the tiger

@jp123456 why four? didnt it ask about how many times the graph intersected x-axis

@drgoldwyn yeah i thought it did 4 times, and yeah i put had saw as wrong

same^ and I think I circle “which” I think it should have been “where”

I felt the only tough part on writing was the improving sentences section for section 5/6. Math I made stupid errors, probably got very low 700’s, and CR was pretty easy except for some vocab and passage questions

@jp123456 how did u solve that one? what does the f(x)-1 mean? i think i just looked at f(x)

About the “would have” question, I circled the first “would have” and changed it to E (no error), since the underline didn’t include the “been” in “would have been”…

@Drgoldwyn
Shift the entire graph down one unit. Or, picture the horizontal line y=1 as the x-axis. The graph crossed y=1 four times
