Now That I've Got Some Brand New Scores.....Here Comes the Chance Thread

General Comments: So I’d really appreciate people chancing me for these scholarships. I know I can get into the universities themselves, but I really doubt I’m very competitive for the scholarships. And I couldn’t resist applying to two Ivies. Thanks sooo much in advance!

Brown University[/ul]

I don’t know about Yale or Brown because those schools focus a lot on class rank and GPA (Sad for me too) but if yous ell yourself right you could probably get some kind of scholarship at all the others.

thanks! Anyone else have any advice?

ISU should be a piece of cake (atleast from seeing in-state students - I don’ really know if the standards are different for out of state students). I don’t really know about the other state schools, but I’d say you’d be a competetive applicant at many.

Again, Brown and Yale…nobody knows what goes on behind those mahagony doors, but I think you’d need stellar recommendations, essays and as for everyone, a bunch of luck. : )

bump

Sorry, I know people hate when threads are bumped.

anyone? before it goes into the CC oblivion
