<p>Wow! I’ve only heard of one of those schools, but it’s the one my niece attends. I had some suspicions.</p>
<p>I was surprised to see the University of New England (Maine) on one of the lists. I know several kids who have gone there and liked it a lot. </p>
<p>Reading the article, it would appear that UNE is on the last list because it has a large number of Pell students, but few of them are black or latino. Since UNE is located in the whitest state in the union, it is hardly their fault.</p>
<p>Neighbor’s kid just started at Becker. When she told me where he was going I just smiled and nodded. </p>
