<p>What part of the country do you live in?</p>
<p>I’m so stressed about these semi-finalist notifications!!! Can anyone estimate what time I would get the notification if I live in NY (but not NYC)??? Please I will freak out in the middle of classes tomorrow if I get accepted hahaha but yeah just let me know.</p>

<p>Hi! I have heard that people in NY (and the Northeast) get notified earlier, but I am not really sure… :)</p>
<p>@jjtell11 Yay NY buddies! I think we should probably get them first and probably early in the week. Maybe even tomorrow if we are lucky. I also think it has to do with when you sent in your application. Probably somewhere between 12pm-6pm. I don’t think they would do it too early or too late. </p>
<p>I have no idea so don’t be surprised if I am completely wrong :P</p>
<p>I heard that they start with NYC and DC area applicants and kind of move their way west-ward so you should be notified earlier than the poor west-coast dwellers @jjtell11 </p>
<p>@girlintheworld YAY!!! I’m so excited but really nervous because this is my first year applying. Hopefully we get them tomorrow so I’ll just know and it won’t be on my mind all week

<p>@girlintheworld Yeah I really hope so!!! What do you think are the chances if you are a semi-finalist that you will be a finalist for this scholarship?</p>
<p>@jjtell11 I am not sure. Maybe around 40% chance. It depends on how many people applied this year and how many spots they have. </p>

<p>I’m going off to school to rant to each and everyone of my friends about the notifications starting today. ^^ Good luck to all of the east coast today! I think you are all very dedicated people and I hope each and every one of you get what they want! However, I need you to remember, especially if you are a senior, if you don’t get in it is not the end of the world. You will just apply again and if you can’t, you will still do amazing things, I promise. How we say good luck in Korea, FIGHTING!!! </p>
