yes - good luck to all! My daughter applied for Korean summer. It’s her first time applying, and we know it’s especially a long shot since she is in 9th grade, so if she doesn’t make it this time, she will have more chances, but we’re still nervous/excited for the semifinalist notifications.
So I totally just made an account to comment in this thread because as the supposed semi finalist day comes closer, I just keep getting more nervous

okay, I’m curious; are the semifinalist acceptance letters released at 4:30 pm EST exactly?? or in a similar time frame? last year i got my rejection letter around at ~5:30 pm EST, i just want to know if rejection letters are sent out later than semifinalist letters.

Probably at 5PM, (est) since earlier someone said they got their letter at 4CSt

Someone on the Ask NSYI-Y Alumni Facebook page said he got his Russia Semi-Finalist Notification on December 4, 2018, which was a Tuesday. I don’t know if I can take another day of this…
