1410 is slightly below the average of NU students but is well within the range of admitted students. If you really want to go to NU you should consider ED. You have an excellent GPA with a slightly below average SAT for top schools so applying ED at a school that gives an advantage to ED admissions(NU,ND etc) might be the way to go.

You have to apply to the music school directly, you can’t really just decide afterwards. The music school is very competitive and small, so I’m not sure how you’ll fare. You do have a solid music resume though, so just hope your audition goes well. Good luck!
