<p>@ nutterbutter- I really doubt the adcoms have the time to look at CC lol, and if they did I don’t think they’d want to sift through 1700 applications on the hope we match up. </p>

<p>Kheema: we don’t know for sure that the emails are coming today or that the mail is coming the 15th. we know the letters were mailed today, so the time it takes to get to your mailbox will obviously vary. the emails should come anytime this weekend, which COULD be tonight, but if it doesn’t, it’s not like they went back on their word.</p>

<p>My guess, unless the email comes tomorrow, would be between 5 and 6 EST. That’s when most admission decisions are posted.</p>
<p>As for tomorrow, I have no estimate because it’s a weekend. If we don’t get emails in the next 30 minutes, I doubt they’ll come today.</p>
<p>I think the reason that everything with Northwestern is up in the air is that last year they had an automated system (like most schools do) that, when they pressed a button, sent mass emails to everybody about their decision. So it wasn’t a big deal to send things out early, once they had made their last decision they just did that.</p>
<p>However, because of the fiasco last year with that system, they’re not using one this year. Which means that it’ll take more human effort (and more time) to group the names and send out mass emails. Which probably explains the “delay”. </p>
<p>So I think we’ll get them when they’re done sending them, which probably won’t be a nice, clean time, since it’s people (well, ish, I’m sure there’s SOME software involved) doing the sending.</p>
<p>I agree, but I’m pretty sure they’re using an automated system to email everyone. They’re probably taking extra time and people double checking to avoid another fiasco.</p>
