I had a couple of questions about the interview process for NU.

1.) MIT was really cool about me wearing earrings. Would it matter if I did at the NU interview?
2.) I bleached my hair in stripes and splotches (for fun), is it a good idea to shave it or dye it back to all black? (The hair is supposed to look outrageous haha.)
3.) Any suggestions or questions I should be prepared for other than the typical “why NU” questions?
4.) Anyone wanna share past interview experiences?

Small studs. I personally wouldn’t go with huge hoops or whatnot.

I’d personally make your hair go back to as normal as possible. Interviews are supposed to be formal and you don’t want to make a bad impression.

Just make sure you know your passions in life, and why NU is an awesome school I guess.

If it’s an alumni interview, all you have to do is judge the situation based on the setting. My interview was in a lawyer’s office, so I kept it fairly formal.

i wear studs. you should wear what you are. ;-)

yeah my hair stands out mainly because i’m indian, and, to be quite honest, you don’t see very many indians with bleached hair. i think i’m going to shave my head for the interview, which i’m fine with. i’m sure i’d look fine with a shave. :-)
