Number of UPenn Hospitals

How many hospitals are on the UPenn campus?
I think on it’s medical site it says there are three hospitals, but I keep hearing varying numbers.

Only one technically on-campus: HUP (Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania). Penn Presbyterian Medical Center is a few blocks north of campus, and Pennsylvania Hospital is in Society Hill. Those are the 3 main Penn-owned hospitals. Penn also owns an ambulatory and long-term care facility near Fitler Square in Center City (the former Graduate Hospital), and satellite facilities in the suburbs. It also has affiliations with various community hospitals in the Philadelphia region. Additionally, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is next door to HUP, but is not owned by Penn, although it has strong connections with Penn Med School, Nursing School, etc. The Philadelphia VA Medical Center is also just a couple of blocks from campus and again, although not owned by Penn, has strong connections with Penn’s Medical and Nursing Schools.

Of course, there is also an ANIMAL hospital on-campus, at the Vet School. :)
