I’m glad she got a settlement and she must have a damn good attorney because that was a large settlement given the facts. I’ve seen police injure victims who’ve received much less.
It seems like the settlement was in light of potential exposure due to the egregious behavior of the beligerant officer and the other that did nothing. Glad she got a nice settlement.
And who knows what else that PD did… $500k paid to not have that laundered in public.
